Flax seed peanut coriander chutney

Flax seed is one the richest source of omega-3 fatty acid.

Lemon provides vitamin C in this recipe.

Peanuts are the rich source of protein and good for skin.

Fresh coriander, as we know that it is phytonutrients and much more.

Ingredients:

  • Flax seed: 3 table spoon
  • Peanuts: 1/3 cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves: 50 gm.
  • Green chilli: 2-3 no.
  •  Lemon: 1 no.
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon (as per taste)
  • Water: as per requirement

For seasoning:

  • Mustard seed oil: half teaspoon
  • Oil: 1 teaspoon

Preparation:

  1. Dry roast flax seed, keep aside.
  2. Dry roast peanuts, keep aside.
  3. Chop green chilli and coriander leaf roughly, keep aside.

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients for the chutney in mixer- grinder; grind to this, adding water as required.
  2. Now chutney is ready; add lemon juice, mix well.

For seasoning:

  1.  Heat oil in a fry-pan; add mustard seeds, when they sputtered, put off the flame.
  2. Add this as a garnish to the chutney.
