You may give this Lemon drink almost daily or twice a day. Lemon is strong anti-cancer and cholesterol lowering agents due to the presence of certain compounds called limonins. They also contain phytonutrients like flavonoids which have good antioxidant properties, undo the effects of sun damage and induce collagen repair, it is an anti ageing agent too.
Ingredients:
- Lemon: 1 no.
- Sugar: 8 teaspoon (4 teaspoon per glass)
- Daily use Salt: 1 pinch
- Kala namak (black rock salt): 1 pinch
- Water: 2 glasses
- Ice cube: 8-10 no.
Preparation:
- Cut the lemon in two pieces, cut one Slice from each piece for decoration, keep aside.
Method:
- Dissolve the sugar and salt (both type) into a big kettle, dissolve it well.
- Put it into refrigerator for at least half an hour; take it out, squeezed lemon into it (just before you serve).
- Decorate with lemon slice and ice cubes.
- The lemon drink is ready to serve.
