Ingredients:
- Beet root: 1no. (100-150 gm)
- Lemon: 2 no.
- Sugar: 2/3 cup
- Honey: optional
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin seed powder: 1 teaspoon
Preparation:
- Peel off beetroot and chop them.
- Boil beetroot with half cup of water or you can microwave it.
- Let it cool, put pieces into blender and run on high speed for 2 minutes.
- Add sugar and blend till it gets smooth paste.
- Take a mixing bowl, keep soup strainer over it.
- Pour the paste, and sieve, discard the residue left on the Strainer.
- Now the paste is ready for making the “beet root cooler”.
- Store it in fridge.
Method:
- Take two table spoon of the paste for each glass of “beet root cooler”.
- Add water and crushed ice.
- Squeeze lemon as your taste.
- Serve chilled juice (with honey if you wish).
