Long journey Travelling is a great challenge, especially, when the elders don’t like outside food are with us.
Aroma of this is amazing and wonderful; it is good for 3-4 days or a week at normal temperature.
Ingredients:
- Big green chilli: 5 no.
- Oil: 2 table spoon
- For stuffing:
- Besan (Gram flour):3 tablespoon
- Coriander powder: 3 teaspoon
- Roughly grind Saunf (Fennel seed):1 teaspoon
- Mango powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Chilli powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin seed powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
- Asafoetida: 1 pinch
- Oil: 1 tea spoon
Preparation:
- Take big green chilli, slit longitudinally (from one side only), discard seeds and cut into two pieces. Keep aside.
- Take a mixing bowl; put all stuffing ingredients into the bowl; mix well, stuffing is ready. Keep aside.
To prepare stuffed chili:
- Take split chilli and stuff fully with stuffing. Keep aside.
- Repeat with all chilies, now all chilies are ready to cook.
Method:
- Take a nonstick fry pan, heat 2 tablespoon of oil in it.
- Heat oil till smoke begins to come, season with mustard seed and Asafoetida powder.
- Place the stuffed chilies in the pan; cover and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
- Change the side and again cook for 3-4 minutes.
- “Besan Bharwan Mirchi (Big green chilli with gram flour)” is ready to serve as side dish.
