Ingredients:
- Paneer (Cottage cheese): 200gm
- Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Cream: 1 tablespoon
- Ginger: 1 teaspoon (paste)
- Onion: 1 no. (Medium size)
- Tomato: 1 no. (Large)
- Fresh peas: 1 tablespoon
- Green chili: 2 no.
- Fresh coriander leaf: 2 tablespoon
- Garam masala: 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder: 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: half teaspoon
- Cumin seed: half teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
Preparation:
- Grate the paneer. Keep aside.
- Chop onion, tomato and green chili into small pieces. Keep aside.
Method:
- Take fry pan put oil and heat, when it starts to smoke, add cumin seed and sputter it for few seconds.
- Add chopped onion and fry it on high flame.
- Add green chili and ginger paste. Stir it and fry it till light golden color appears.
- Add tomato and fry till it become soft.
- Add cream and peas in it. Sauté it for another one minutes.
- Add chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt, stir well.
- Add grated paneer; fry it for about 2-3minutes, put off the flame.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaf.
- Paneer bhurji is ready to serve.
- Serve hot with Tanduri/ Tandoori roti or kulcha.
