Ghar ka masala (homemade masala) just like grand ma used to make it. So when you spice the food with this masala you will feel traditional and amusing too. Tanduri chat masala is used mainly when we tandoor the vegetables/meat etc.

Tandoori Chat Masala Powder is a vibrant spice blend that combines the tangy punch of chat masala with the smoky depth of tandoori spices. Crafted from ingredients like roasted cumin, black salt, amchur (dried mango powder), black pepper, chilli, and a touch of clove or cinnamon etc. this masala delivers a balance of heat, tang, and smokiness that instantly elevates any dish.

A dash of this masala over paneer tikka, tandoori chicken, kebabs, roasted vegetables, or even chaats adds restaurant-style flavor at home. It can also be used in marinades or sprinkled over butter naan, salads, and fries for a tangy twist.

Ingredients:

  • Cumin: 20 gm.
  • Black pepper: 20 gm.
  • Kala namak: 20 gm.
  • Green cardamom: 10 gm
  • Cloves: 5 gram
  • Cinnamon: 5 gm
  • Mace: 2 gm
  • Dry ginger (sauth):10 gm.
  • Amchoor (dry mango powder): 50 gm
  •  Red Chilli: 10 gm
  • Citric acid: 2 gm.
  • Asafoetida: 2 gm
  • Ajwain (Carom seed): 2 gm.
  • Dry mint leaves: 10 gm
  • Kasuri methi: 10 gm

Preparation:

  1. Dry roast cumin seed, keep aside.
  2. Break dry ginger and kala namak roughly, keep aside.

Method:

  1. Grind cumin, dry ginger, kala namak roughly.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, grind till get fine powder.
  3. Sieve and grind again the residue.
  4. Store this powder tandoori chat masala into air tight container, for months.
