Ingredients:
- Guwar phalli: 200gm
- Turmeric powder: half teaspoon
- Chilli powder: one forth teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: half teaspoon
- Mustard oil/Cooking oil: 1 tablespoon
- Cumin seed: half teaspoon
- Asafoetida: 1 pinch
- Garam masala powder: half teaspoon
Preparation:
- Wash and discard both ends of phalli (cluster beans).
- Now cut phalli into 1 inch pieces.
Method:
- Take oil in a wok, when it starts smoking.
- Add asafoetida and cumin seed in it.
- Sputter for few seconds, Add guwar phalli in it.
- Stir it. Cover it. (About 4-5 minutes)
- Add salt, turmeric, chilli, coriander powder in it.
- Cover it, lower the flame and cook for two to three minutes.
- Occasionally stir it .Cook till vegetable become soft. Gwarphalli sabji is ready to serve with “chapati “or “Dost Paratha”
