Ingredients:
- Maida: 250 gm
- Baking soda: 2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 pinch
- Malai (fresh cream):1 cup
- Green cardamom: 5-6 no.
- Sugar: 250 gm
- Ghee: 1 tablespoon
- Milk: half cup
Preparation:
- Sieve Maida and baking soda and salt together. (3-4 times)
- Grind sugar and make powder. Keep aside.
- Take a baking tray, put half teaspoon of ghee.
- Apply ghee all around the container.
- Sprinkle one teaspoon of Maida over it. Discard extra Maida. Keep aside.
- Take a big mixing bowl, put sugar and malai in it.
- Mix it well with the help of hand blender/food processor. (About 4-5 minutes).
- Add Maida along with baking soda and salt.
- Mix well, if needed add little amount of milk.
- Make a smooth batter.
- Now cake batter is ready.
Method:
- Choose the size of baking tray such that when batter is put it gets half filled only, as after baking its volume gets nearly doubled.
- And bake it into pre heated OTG at 220 degree centigrade for about 30-35 minutes.
- Bake until toothpick inserted near the centre of the cake comes out clean.
- If it sticks, bake another few minutes.
Note:
- You can bake it simply into pre heated cooker on minimum flame.
- Let it cool for some time and transfer into serving disc.
