Ingredients:
- Gwarphalli: 200gm
- Onion: 1 no. (Medium size)
- Garlic: 3 flacks
- Ginger: 1” piece.
- Tomato: 1 no. (Medium size)
- peanut : 2 tablespoon
- Sesame seed: 1 tablespoon
- Green chili: 1-2 no.
- Turmeric powder: half teaspoon
- Chili powder: one forth teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: half teaspoon
- Mustard oil/Cooking oil: 2 tablespoon
- Cumin seed: half teaspoon
Preparation:
- Cut Gwarphalli (cluster beans) into 1 inch pieces.
- Cut onion into fine pieces.
- Chop tomato into small pieces.
- Cut green chili, ginger and garlic in small pieces..
- Dry roast ground nuts and sesame seed.
- Peel off the skin of ground nut.
- Coarsely grind the ground nut and sesame seed.
- Blanch the gwarphalli (put the vegetables into the boiling water for 2 minutes and immediately put into chilled water and then in running water )
Method:
- Take a fry pan. Put 2 table spoon of oil in it, when smokes come out.
- Add chopped onion in this and fry till golden brown. (Approx3-4 minutes)
- Add green chili, garlic and ginger in it. Stir it properly.
- Add tomato, coriander powder, chili powder, salt and turmeric powder.
- Stir it; fry till oil separates from masala.
- Add blanched gwarphalli in it, stir it. Cover it. (About 4-5 minutes)
- Occasionally stir it .Cook till vegetable become soft.
- Add coarsely grind ground nut and sesame seed.
- Mix well.guwarphalli masala(cluster beans) is ready
serve this with roti ,rice as a side dish.
