I prepared a wholesome and festive “Phalahari Thali 12” keeping both taste and nourishment in mind.
The Thali included Stuffed Rajgira Kachori served with Kaju Nariyal Chutney, Sabudana Halwa, along with Dates and Fresh Fruits.
Each item complemented the other, making the meal light yet satisfying for fasting days. This phalahari thali not only followed vrat (fasting) guidelines but also looked colourful, inviting, and filling, turning a simple fast into a special and joyful experience.
To complete the Phalahari Thali, I also prepared a refreshing Strawberry Chia Drink. This light and cooling drink balanced the richness of the Kachori and Halwa perfectly.
The soaked chia seeds added nutrition and a pleasant texture, while fresh strawberries gave natural sweetness and freshness.
This drink not only enhances the overall Thali but also helpes in keeping the body hydrated and energised during fasting, making the phalahari meal truly complete and refreshing.
Each item had its own unique flavour and texture, yet they complement each other beautifully. This combination makes the vrat meal filling, balanced, and festive, turning simple fasting food into a satisfying and joyful family treat.
